NexaBoard was built around a modular approach. The core plugin provides essential community functionality, while optional extensions add specialized features when required. This architecture makes it easier to maintain performance and gives website owners more control over how their community platform is configured. Existing extensions already cover private messaging, notifications, emoji, reactions, and sharing. The ecosystem will continue to expand with additional tools focused on moderation, member engagement, integrations, and community management. Each extension is designed to integrate naturally with NexaBoard while remaining independently maintainable.
