Pinned topics are most useful for information that many visitors need to find quickly.
Good examples include important announcements, posting guidelines, frequently requested instructions, and temporary notices that affect a large part of the community.
Avoid pinning too many discussions. If most of the first screen is occupied by pinned content, members may have difficulty noticing new conversations.
Review pinned topics regularly and unpin information that is no longer important or current.
