After installing NexaBoard, it is worth reviewing the main forum settings before inviting members to participate.
Start by checking your permalink configuration, forum visibility, member permissions, and the pages used by NexaBoard. You should also confirm that registration and login work correctly for regular users rather than testing only with an administrator account.
Once the basic configuration is complete, create a small test forum and publish a test topic and reply. This is a quick way to verify that permissions, notifications, moderation tools, and frontend templates are working as expected.
If you are building a new community, keep the initial forum structure simple. You can always add more sections as discussions grow.
