Checklist Before Opening Your Community to Members

Before making a new NexaBoard community public, run through a short launch checklist.

Make sure guests can only access the areas you intend to make public. Test registration with a new account, confirm that members can create topics and replies in the correct forums, and verify that private areas cannot be accessed directly by URL.

It is also useful to prepare community guidelines, at least one help forum, and several starter discussions. New visitors are much more likely to participate when they can immediately understand where to post.

Finally, test the site on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices before announcing the community.
